WORS Series is one of the largest MTB series in the US. The WORS Cup P/B Trek is three days of racing in different XC style events for racers and Pros. There were a number of Pro racers who came to Wisconsin this weekend to race and awesome racing by the AMR team. Even though we were not able to hit every event it still was a lot of fun. AMR racers Brett Stoffregan and Nick Niemann were out on Friday night racing the downhill course. Saturday Laura Andrews raced Women's Open. Laura placed 6th in the field. We were also able to test out our new tent that AMR members raised money for. Very excited about having a nice tent for events now. Colorado team also has a new tent! We stayed around on Saturday to watch a few more races. Sunday we were back out with the group. I (Brandon) raced Citizen race along with Brett and Nick. The course was good with lots of switchbacks and few spaces really to relax. The overall field for the Citizen group was about 125 racers. So the course was challenging with riders being passed and passing. Overall it was a good race for the three of us all getting third place finishes in our fields. Brett in the 30-34 group, myself in the 35-39 group and Nick in the 39- under Clydesdale group. Shimano the pug was also there hanging out Saturday and Sunday.
