Wisconsin CX State Championships

Not typical cyclocross weather in Wisconsin, however we made the best of the unseasonably warmer temps. High was roughly around 50's for the end of the day. No snow or mud, more of a dusty fast track. The course had lots of  great turns, a few off camber areas, two dismounts and a cheeseburger. Yep... Cheeseburger. The women's race even had an award for the first 3 women to jump the cheeseburger. Proudly the first and third racer to do so were our very own Heather and Heidi. Liz had the best podium finish with a second place finish in the Women's 4/5's. Congrats LIZ! Not shown in the photos, Mike Van Dyke & Chris Brown also raced, but it was during races where the photographer didn't get a chance to take photos. Also a few shots of Brandon racing his second race of the day in Single Speed fashion with a Wrestling mask on to please the promoters and their wrestling theme event. Hopefully more photos to come.  Again lots of fun to partially end the season. The Mid West Championships will be held tomorrow in Sun Prairie.
