Race Report by Brandon Andrews- Ever wondered what happens when you have a little bit of rain and then the next day you race on a golf course. Surprisingly it held up better than I first thought it would. The only Exception was the greenway where we crossed. It is now destroyed. Bring The Noyz Cross was just outside of Milwaukee, Wi. Laura and I traveled to go race and decide if we really wanted to race both days. The wet grass just sucked the life out of both of us. I ended up placing 19th out of the 29 finishers. The course had some good twists but nothing very exciting. I battled with a few guys until dropping one and be dropped by the other. Still any day even a bad day in cross is better than just a bad day. Laura also felt the frustrations of the grass. She ended up 6th out of the 6 CX3 Women. We are still trying to find out where all the other racers she has been beating have gone? The day was nice, again just as we left a storm hit. I really feel bad for the Pro Mens races and the storms they keep having to race in. -Race Report by Brandon Andrews |
